Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how personal data may be processed when you use Better With Anna, TheBetterPlate, betterwithanna.health, blog.betterwithanna.health, app.betterwithanna.health and the TheBetterPlate mobile applications (iOS / Android), including consultations, group programs, newsletters and related services.

2) What data may be processed

Depending on how you use the services, we may process contact and account data, newsletter and communication data, technical usage data, scan, menu and image data, optional location and price data, consultation and program data, and voluntarily submitted health-related or other sensitive data in private intake forms.

Health-related or sensitive data is used only for the requested lifestyle-coaching service and not for marketing purposes.

3) Purposes of processing

Processing may take place to provide the website, blog, app, accounts, consultations, programs and digital content, send newsletters, process menu or meal images via OCR, prepare and carry out consultations, moderate groups, ensure security and technical stability, and – if enabled – create aggregated price statistics and improve local recommendations.

4) Legal bases

For EU / EEA users we rely, depending on the case, on contract performance, consent, legitimate interests and legal obligations. Voluntarily submitted health data is processed based on explicit consent and/or otherwise legally permitted cases. For users in Russia, processing is carried out in accordance with applicable Russian law on the basis of consent and for the purpose of the requested consultation or coaching support.

5) Data minimization and restaurant names

For the “Save location and prices” feature, restaurant names are not intentionally collected or stored. Use of this feature is voluntary.

6) Uploaded photos: processing and deletion

Uploaded photos are used for scan, OCR and analysis features and then deleted. Maximum technical temporary storage is up to 24 hours.

7) Improvement program (opt-in)

If you expressly consent, de-identified outputs such as extracted text or tags – but not your images – may be used for quality control and service improvement.

8) Storage and localization

For users outside Russia, data is stored in the EU / EEA, including via Supabase (EU). For users in Russia, personal data is stored on infrastructure in Russia, including via Yandex Cloud (RU).

9) Service providers / processors

Service providers may include Salebot.pro, Google Analytics 4, Google OCR / Vision API, OpenAI / ChatGPT mini, RevenueCat, Apple App Store / Google Play, Supabase and Yandex Cloud.

In addition, external partnership managers engaged under contract (confidentiality and data-processing agreement) may process business contact data of collaboration partners in our partnerships platform partnerships.betterwithanna.health.

10) Retention

Personal data is stored only as long as necessary for the relevant purposes. Photos are deleted after processing, with no more than up to 24 hours of temporary technical storage.

11) Your rights

Subject to legal requirements, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability and withdrawal of consent. Users in Russia may request information, correction or deletion and withdraw consent where provided by law.
